Cheese
Sapori d'Italia
Agri $2.49 ea
Straight from Nichlasville, KY, this goat cheese gets
its name from the italian word for fresh. Finished early
Wednesday afternoons, it is topped with italian style
herbs and hand delivered to our door.
Now that's KY Proud!
Sapori d'Italia
Peperoncini
Another one of the many styles of goat cheese from the
same cheesemaker, Giovanni Capezzuto has infused this
cheese with the bold flavor of red pepper. Alongside
one of our artisan made salamis, this combo makes for
a perfect cheese and charcuterie plate.
Cantalet, France
Cantalet (kahn-TAH-lay) is one of the oldest cheese
in France, older even than Roquefort. It is named after
the Cantal Mountains in Auvergne, where it is produced
from cow*s milk and then aged. The flavor is buttery
and nutty with earthy undertones and each bite lingers
gracefully in the mouth. Pairs well with a wide variety
of wines.
Vintage Gouda,
Netherlands
This gouda is aged 5 years and there aren't so many
Goudas of that age with a similar miracle of flavor.
With a texture similar to Parmigiano-Reggiano, its rich
flavor and subtle sweetness is intense and complex.
This cheese pairs beautifully with a rich red wine or
cool, tall glass of beer.
