"Turkey Wine!"
Gloria Ferrer
Blanc de Noirs $16
Gloria's Blanc de Noirs is a distinctive blend of Pinot
Noir and Chardonnay. Bright strawberry and black cherry
aromas with subtle vanilla highlights. Creamy cherry,
lemon and cola flavors combine with a lush palate, small,
lively bubbles and a persistent finish.'06
Chateau St. Michelle
Indian Wells Riesling $10
The 2006 Indian Wells Riesling exhibits fruit-driven
aromas of juicy pineapple and mango. The wine is rich
and unctuous, maintaining a fresh, elegant style, typical
Washington State Riesling.
'07 Reuscher-Haart
Piesporter $13
For many centuries, the beautiful steep hillsides along
the Mosel River have been counted amongst the very best
wine growing regions in the world. Here, elegantly crisp
Riesling grapes are grown which delight by their fine
fruit and flavor. This wine, lovely and precise, exudes
flavors of spring flowers, grapefruits, peaches and
minerals. Vibrant and harmonious, it has a lingering,
citrus-tinged finish.
'05 J. Vidal-Fleury
Domaine Le Pigeonnier Côtes du Rhône $10
Domaine Le Pigeonnier was built in the 19th century
and is located just north of Gigondas. Vineyards lay
on gentile slopes of red clay and pebble stones. Deep
ruby in color, red fruit scent with a touch of spice.
The wine is full bodied with soft tannins producing
a long lasting aromatic finish.
Cheese
Humboldt Fog
$19.47/lb
Made by the mother daughter team of Mary Keehn and Malorie
McCurdy in Humboldt County, California. Highly recommend
it to anyone interested in trying new cheeses. Humboldt
Fog is an elegant, soft, surface ripened cheese. The
texture is creamy and luscious with a subtle tangy flavor.
Each handcrafted wheel features a ribbon of edible vegetable
ash along its center and a coating of ash under its
exterior to give it a distinctive, cake-like appearance.
An American Original!
Carr Valley Cocoa
Cardona $15.99/lb
Chocolate and cheese unite beautifully in this award-winning
American Original. Made in 8-lb. wheels, from goat milk,
it features aged Cardona and rubbed with cocoa powder.
The cocoa flavor is subtle, the rind a lovely brown,
and the end result like nothing you've ever tasted!
Cypress Grove
Goat Milk Cheddar $16.99/lb
Sharp and smooth, this cheddar is aged a minimum of
one year, giving it a complex, nutty flavor. Off-white
in color, as opposed to the yellow of the cow's milk
variety, Cypress Grove Goat Milk Cheddar is not overly
"goaty," although the chevre is discernable.
It is a great way to broaden your cheddar experience!
Made with pasteurized cultured goat milk.
Surchoix $15.99/lb An American Gruyere, made in Wisconsin
that's as good as any produced in France or Switzerland.
It has a bit of funk to it, tickling the roof of your
mouth with pungent flavor without being too sharp.
